These step by step videos are designed to teach your child or students how to tie their shoes independently.

Step 1. Cross Laces

Cross laces over your shoe.

Use 2 hands to pull the laces tight into a basic knot.

Use 2 hands to make a second knot, but leave a small space.

Pull one lace through the open hole to make a loop.

Pull the second lace through the open hole to make a 2nd loop.

Make sure to use 2 hands to pull the laces tight.
